STEINS GATE IS NOT BORING. You have to bear through Okarin’s jokes for a few episodes but it is a very well crafted series. Yes. For most people who watched the series, the first ten or so episodes was slow, but it’s for the plot. Keep watching it, especially if you enjoy sci-fi or time travel. Almost gave up on the show a couple times during the first bit but it definitely makes up for it in the later episodes.

Death Note has a much better beginning and it was great about 2/3 but Steins Gate has a better middle to end. Overall I probably enjoyed Death Note more and even the parts that are considered a decline in quality I found enjoyable. I guess I found Death Note as more consistently good.
